Back from Yosemite! Grateful! A Few Images

Hi again, everyone.

I am hoping that you are following my posts by now.  To receive a message each time I make a new post, simply use one of the Social Network or RSS buttons on this page.  I would truly love to have you follow me along on my adventure in photography.  With no further ado, a few images from my time in Yosemite.  I hope you enjoy.  Namaste.

This first image shows me and my truck as we traveled to Yosemite, via the Mohave Desert, Highway 395 up the Eastern side of the Sierras, over the Sierra Madres on Kit Carson Pass, and then Highways 49/120 into Yosemite.  This will probably be the last big trip for me and this truck.  I am actively looking for a new truck.  It will be with sadness that I let this one go.  It has seen me through the last thirteen years very well.

It afforded me, not only on the one night I was in Yosemite, but also on several other daytime occasions, where the time was right, to just climb into the back and take a nap . . :o)

And now, here are a few of my early edited images from Yosemite.  I hope you enjoy them.  This first image was taken near the top of Vernal Falls, looking down on an incredible scene.  I took HD movies as well.  It was a place where the magic of the moment was intoxicating.

Yesterday morning (4/4/12) I got up before dawn and traveled to the Tunnel View, for a look back at the valley at sunrise.  Didn’t work out.  It was socked in with fog and clouds.  I headed for the Valley floor, to get back underneath the cloud layer, to find the light alive, especially on Yosemite Falls.  There will be several more images that come out of this unbelievable 20 minutes of time, but I’ll leave you with this one for now.

Below is an image of Yosemite Falls, upper and lower, photographed in reflection.

Early morning light coming into the Valley . . .

Finally, a view of Bridal Veil Falls early in the morning as well . . .

I hope you have enjoyed my images.  There will be many more beautiful ones to come.  I would love to have you sign up to follow along.

Be back with you soon!
